Tod McCoy grew up in Kansas and Arizona, graduated with too many degrees (BA in Journalism, BA in English, MA in English with an emphasis on 17th & 18th Century British Drama) from Arizona State University, then moved to Seattle where he lived for 25 years. In 2019 he moved to Lolo, Montana, where he married the witch-artist Nikki Rossignol. He is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop and is currently a board member. He's also the publisher of Hydra House Books, a micro press that publishes science fiction and fantasy. He lives with his witch-wife, a goblin child, two wild cats, and two wabbid wabbits.
