I am a playwright, poet, editor, and fiction writer whose work has appeared in Asimov’s, Heartbeat of the Universe, Bronies: For the Love of Ponies, and Hummingbird Magazine, among others. My theatrical work has been produced in Seattle, Portland, Missoula, Tempe, and Vancouver, BC. I received a BA in English and a BA in Journalism from Arizona State University, as well as an MA in English from the same revered party institution. In 2010 I attended the Clarion West Writers Workshop in Seattle, Washington, and later become Board Chair. I am currently still on the board of directors. I am also the publisher behind Hydra House Books, a science fiction and fantasy press, under which I co-edited the award-nominated Pocket Workshop: Essays on Living as a Writer and the award-nominated Ex Marginalia: Essays from the Edge of Speculative Fiction. I live outside of Missoula, Montana, with my artist-witch wife, Nikki Rossignol McCoy, a goblin child, and a variety of animal familiars. (Basically, I live in a barn.)
